Shoeworld has been trading in the southeast of England for the past 30 years. Our first shop opened in Heath Street, Hampstead in 1977. We then went on to open 27 shops in and around London. Our prices are extremely low but this does not mean that our quality is not of the highest standards. We believe in giving true value for money to all our customers and work on low profit margins. Most of our styles are by far the cheapest in the retail world. We source all our footwear from Italy, Portugal, India and China and import directly 90% of the items we sell.
Ethical Responsibility
We have a long term relationship with most of our factories and we ensure that ethical standards are met and that all of our workers, throughout the world, work in respectable, clean, tidy factories and are paid at least the minimum wage. No child labour is used in any operations of our company. Additionally, our company is environmentally aware and 97% of waste produced is recycled, this includes worn returns and damaged shoes, which are shipped out to Africa and for recycling in the local community. Ethical responsibility is at the forefront of Shoeworld's mission statement and values.
